ViviSoft, LLC is a National Instruments Alliance partner that provides a complete software development experience from requirements, design/development, software unit testing, automated build, release, and deployment of LabVIEW software applications. I am a one-person operation with a LabVIEW Architect certification (CLA) for more than ten years. I have done work on a wide range of applications, from the simple Agile (pay as you go) application to the fully budgeted, scheduled, designed, and developed large-scale applications.

Platforms
cRIO/sbRIO Realtime and FPGA
cRIO (compact Reconfigurable Input/Output) and sbRIO (single board Reconfigurable Input/Output) are hardware platforms that combine FPGA and real-time processing. They are utilized in real-time data acquisition and processing applications, such as industrial automation and robotics. The FPGA enables flexible configurations, allowing users to implement custom algorithms for high-speed processing and parallel tasks.
On the other hand, the real-time processor in these systems ensures executed tasks meet timing constraints, providing deterministic responses crucial for control applications. This combination enables engineers to create sophisticated embedded systems that analyze data, control processes, and interact with hardware seamlessly.
PXI Windows and Realtime
PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) is a modular instrumentation platform that standardizes hardware for automated testing and measurement systems. The integration of Windows-based operating systems with PXI allows users to develop applications that leverage the robust processing capabilities of modern computers while taking advantage of the modularity and flexibility offered by PXI hardware.
Using Windows in conjunction with PXI systems enables seamless integration between high-performance computing applications and instrumentation, thus facilitating data collection, analysis, and control processes. Windows & Linux Desktop Applications
LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment for test, measurement, and automation, supporting both Windows and Linux platforms. On Windows, it offers an intuitive interface, extensive hardware connectivity, and integration with toolkits, making it ideal for industrial and research applications.
